Mattel, inc has announced that Meg Foster, who played Evil-Lyn in the 1987 live-action Masters of the Universe movie, will return to Eternia to provide the voice of Motherboard. Last year saw it rumored that He-Man would be replaced by Teela in the new Kevin Smith animated series coming to Netflix this Summer, which wouldn’t be a surprise at all and would fit with Hollywood’s agenda of replacing male characters (Star Wars, Ghostbusters, Terminator, Doctor Who, etc). Executive Producer and showrunner Kevin Smith has confirmed that the show is a follow-up of events that transpired in the ‘80s animated series which was aired from 1983-1985. The animation series will pick where it left. That comes to full fruition in Revelation Part 2, Episode 4, “Hope, for a Destination” after Skeletor and Adam have joined forces to confront her.
